VGBND Gets a New Look
Some say that people never really change. We see it differently.
Life is a journey that requires growth and in order for this to happen, change must occur. The partners at VGBND, who established the company more than 20 years ago, apply this line of thinking to their brand. Just as we change and grow, so must our businesses. In the past, we’ve revamped Vagabond Production Services as needed, but this time we aimed to go above and beyond by collaborating with the design team at Funkhaus on all things visual.
“The team at Vagabond allowed us to truly explore the re-imagination of an existing brand,” says Funkhaus Creative Director David Funkhouser. “We went pretty wild with the initial logo explorations, ranging from highly kinetic typography to even dropping the vowels out of the word Vagabond itself. That very bold decision, in the end, left us with a logotype that is elevated, modern, and refined in a way that will remain timeless for years to come.”
We couldn’t be more excited about this contemporary representation of all we have to offer, which also serves as a promise of what’s in store. Our new design is indicative of the mature, grounded production services company that we have become over the last two decades, but don’t be alarmed, we still know how to have fun at our seasoned age.
